PASTOR: Bro. Randy

Dear Family and Friends,
On November 1st 2010 I had the awesome opportunity to go on my first overseas mission trip, when I was able to go to Namibia, Africa. The Republic of Namibia is a country in southern Africa whose western border is the Atlantic Ocean. It shares land borders with Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana and Zimbabwe to the east, and South Africa to the south and east. We will be working with the Mbalantu people, and while they speak many different languages, English is the main language.
The Christian community makes up at least 80% of the population of Namibia, with at least 50% of these Lutheran. Although they call themselves Christian, most have never heard the name of Jesus. They are Christian by name and not by faith.
This is an evangelistic trip with Bi-Fork Association (the Red Fork & Salt Fork Associations combine to make up the Bi-Fork). We are sending 3 to 4 teams a year to Namibia.
We will finish with this mission in 2013, the Lord has established a thriving church in Outapi and they are starting more churches.
